Description

In Pokemon Blue Kaizo, you’ll get your first starter pokemon from Professor Oak, while your competitor is about to get his. Unfortunately for you, the competitor has a special appetiser that gives you a taste of what’s to come. You must collect approximately 150 pokemon, earn eight gym badges, and protect yourself from the evil Team Rocket.

It’s basically Pokemon Blue, except you can collect all 151 pokemon and it’s far more challenging than the original in many respects. When compared to the original red and blue, the enemy’s movepools have improved dramatically, making what were formerly simple confrontations more intense. Gym Leaders and many other bosses, in particular, have larger rosters, better pokemon for their sorts, and a pokemon that counters the Supereffective pokemon against their theme. Several maps, such as the regularity with which pokemon emerge and mazes, have also been changed. Certain overpowered pokemon can be gotten in the late or post game.

Oh, and there might be a few surprises in Blue Kaizo…

However, many pokemon’s capture rates have been enhanced, making them quite easy to get; you have access to a highly diverse range of pokemon throughout the game, particularly early on; you can use flash in the rock tunnel; and you can train at a good pace without having to do too much grinding. Fighting all of the trainers is a great way to gain valuable experience. The grade of pokemon you can catch grows as you continue through the game. Poke balls and repels are also more cheaper than previously, and you can obtain free ethers for completing challenging dungeons and marathon routes. Like everything else, the better the stuff you purchase from the merchants, the further you progress through the game.
