Description

Travel back to the majestic lands of Johto through the perspective of a boy or girl from Cherrygrove City on their way to becoming a great Pokémon Master! Set 20 years after the events of Gold and Silver, you’ll meet many new and old characters along your journey, as well as uncover more of the region’s secrets. Discover a wide variety of Pokémon and an all-new storyline as your path intertwines with a mysterious group calling themselves Team Phoenix, who seem determined to capture Celebi for some nefarious scheme.

Use HM moves outside of battle without needing to teach them to the Pokémon (as long as the Pokémon can learn the move).
Black/White-style repel system.

Some TM moves have been updated to newer moves.
Over 750+ Pokémon available.
Mega Evolution available in the post-game.
Nature changer NPC (an old woman sitting on a park bench in Violet City).
Battle nurse available in most Pokémon Centers for leveling up.

Mime Jr. now evolves into Galarian Mr. Mime using an Ice Stone.

Reusable TMs and deletable HMs.
Added some egg moves to the Move Relearner for all Pokémon.

Added a start menu clock.
Battle nurse available in most Pokécenters for experience gain.

Expanded the bag capacity to 120 items (note: old saves will not be compatible due to this change).

Known Bugs

~~The game freezes after falling down with Oliver in the Ruins of Alph: Fixed in the v1.1 patch.~~
~~Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Voltorb don’t evolve: Fixed in the v1.1 patch.~~
Galarian Weezing (and possibly other Pokémon) causes Sprite glitches in double battles: The sprites might flip around, which isn’t game-breaking but looks odd.
Mega Evolution symbol stays on screen after the Mega Pokémon faints: The symbol remains visible sometimes but disappears after the battle or if you check your other Pokémon.
In multi-double battles, if all your teammate’s Pokémon faint, you might not be able to switch.
~~Galarian Yamask couldn’t evolve into Runerigus: Fixed in v1.2 patch (7/3/24). Now, Galarian Yamask just needs to sustain 49+ damage in battle (calculated as max HP minus current HP).~~
~~The game freezes when talking to Mom after the first Shane battle: This issue is rare and was addressed in the v1.3 patch.~~

Note: Some emulators seem to have issues running the game and will crash. I recommend using mGBA for mac and PC, and Pizzaboy GBA for Android. (Someone will have to let me know if there’s a good one for iphone)
