Pokemon FireRed +Plus is a hack of Pokemon FireRed (obviously) but the difference is in the added content- the useless Sevii Islands have been removed and replaced with the Orange Islands.
Story
After fighting the Elite Four, Oak orders you to retrieve the GS ball (similar to Ash’s adventure), but once there, the tale turns drastically…
When you arrive in Valencia, you take a winding path up to Prof. Ivy’s lab… When team rocket strikes, she is about to offer you the GS Ball… They smashed the professor and stole the GS Ball before you could intervene to save it. Before you set off in hot pursuit, Ivy mentions something about unusual Pokemon. You then arrive on Mikan Island, where you must confront the gym’s leader Cissy in a dual match.
Don’t worry, if you think the only difference is post-game material, you’re mistaken. Kanto has a lot of new mini games and fun trading routines. There are also new characters to meet as well as new goods to collect.

Probably discontinued- “This hack is incomplete. I have lost interest in completeing it and just wanted to publish what I had.”
The story is not 100% done. You chase Team Rocket all the way to Mandarin Island where they are mining gold and silver (which is a mask for their real goal of finding Lugia and Ho-oh). While the game is not complete, it is playable. All of Kanto is playable, and you will see some things you have never seen before.
